Half Iranian Half English , I grew up in the UK and continue to live there now. I have always loved good food and eating, and I love entertaining and hosting parties. From 2014-2020 I had my own cafe bar where I was chef and event organiser. Covid took me online where I discovered that people loved learning how to cook the dishes that I grew up with from my Persian roots and so since October 2020 Jilah's Tiny Kitchen has been my "pivot" and I have not looked back!
I love the way that anything conveyed with love and humour can melt the screen that exists in virtual events and how a strong sense of community and teamwork is still completely possible from one's own home!
Confidence building and flexibility are what develops through the challenge of preparing different types of foods and the beauty of doing it in your own kitchen is that you are even more at ease as your surroundings are so familiar that the activity in hand is the focus not acclimatising to the environment.
I have devised a tasty Christmas Party menu of nibbles and cocktails that will be accessible to all, quick enough to prepare, and perfect for getting on with the fun of bonding and gaining eachother's trust through hilarious party games and competitions.
All ingredients and any props will be posted out to your team members before the event so that they have everything that they need before the fun begins.
